Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

I love Creamy Scalloped Potatoes.  I can eat then as a side with just about anything.

All you will need is:

9x6 pan about two inches deep
8 to 10 Potatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 stick of butter
1- cup of flower
2-1/2 cups of milk
Salt & pepper to taste

You will use the layering method.
First peal and slice potatoes and set aside.

Layer, Start your layers with 1 cup of milk at the bottom of the baking pan.  Add flower, two or three pads of butter broken up, salt and pepper. Then add a layer of sliced potatoes, salt, pepper, butter on top.  Keep repeating the layers, but do not go completely to the top.  Leave about 1/2 inch space from the top.  Make sure your potatoes are completely covered with milk then bake.  If you have used all the milk and the potatoes are not covered.  Add more milk.

You can easily make these cheesy scalloped potatoes by adding 2 cups of cheese to the layers.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
